5 wire door locks

dei modules ****, stick with useing the diagram and two relays, its easy to do.
A 451M is just a 2-relay pack that includes instructions for various door lock types and fits Directed lock/unlock output plugs. Since it's made to fit his Avital alarm, it would simplify things for an inexperienced installer. No point in buying it if he already has relays, though.

Next question, is there any sort of time delay relay I can use to delay the starter trigger for 10- 15 seconds to simulate a diesel wait to start light?

Edit: The specs say it has a turbo timer, would I be able to set a delay on the unit, or would I need a directed pulse timer relay?

I've had problems with dei bypasses, but never anything like a 451m... *shrug*

And ngsm is right you're going to want to use the glowplug(wait to start) wire, should be a grey/black wire on your factory alarm disarm harness, if you're useing a dei product...

What kind of car is it for?

93 ford explorer I know how to wire everything up, its just figuring out what gos where thats difficult. Luckily its a pretty simple car except for the door locks.

One more question, the neutral safety switch is Not Grounding, OEM Switch opens Starter Circuit how does this get hooked up?

Is the car a stick? if not just ground out the wire straight to the chasis(bare metal whatever). I don't know if thats the question you're looking for an answer for or not...

thats right , my mistake, that relay pack is good. im just used to wireing my own relays and not messing with any dei stuff...
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, I was just saying I haven't had any problems with 451m's(where as i have had problems with their bypasses). All we sell is dei stuff so everything comes with them, so I just use them...

Indeed. I like 451m's, make it simple... even use them for other shit requiring relays... not just door locks .
