Yeah still for sale, about to bump the thread and drop the price. The windshield tint is removed, don't have any pics of it w/o the tint though; I'll probably take one later on.

A big reason I'm doing this is for the looks. I don't want to go too dark as the silver cars with 5% that have been posted are. It's just not MY personal taste. Is that even legal where you're at? Anything less than 15% on the windshield or driver door and they're on your *** out here. A friend of mine decided he liked the 5% better than the 15% too. He ended up with 3 tickets within 2 weeks!!
It must just be the college town where I'm at...The cops act like they score big when you get busted with a joint.

As illegal as it gets, driver and passenger aren't even suppose to be tinted in IL only rear doors/window.

Hell I have been pulled over 3 times for my tint in the last year where I used to live. I go and visit my parents as they still live over that way and I used to get nailed from time to time. I have since learned to roll all my windows down and take back roads now, lol! Most of the cops there finally know my car and know who I am. Lucky I always had the kids with me and they let me go.

Will **** in the winter time though, lol!

i got 12% over the factory 65-70% on the sides and its decently dark...about sunset u cant see hardly anything at a few different angles.

Now my back glasses are double lapped with 30 on bottom and overlayed with 12..i likey

I get a slip of paper saying that I am exempt from the window tint law approved by the State Department of Public Safety. When the cops pull me over for window tint, I tell them to pound sand

i dont understand why they would care what your back windows are tinted... mine is 20% on top of smoked from the factory (i think 35%)

all the places i've tried so far wouldn't do 5 or even 15%

the tinters say its against the law we dont wanna be held accountable.

i guess i have to go to the local car audio shop to get 5% and they are prob amateurs at tinting, they dont even have a real install bay.

For my Accord, it was a whopping $120 for the whole car and $75 for the windshield.

For my Mustang I spent $115 having 20% put over the "legal" tint job but the only warranty they gave me was on their product. In other words, if the tint job under their tint job failed, no warranty.

Places vary in state. I know how to tint myself and did most my cars, but when I wanted my latest car done, I had a shop do it because at the time my back was jacked! I ended up paying over 200 for it with liftime warranty. I did have 4 regular windows, back window and the little side windows on my focus and the brow done. Most shops charge between 120-300 depending where you go and how good they are. I used to charge 150 for most tint jobs back in the day.

Also most shops around here at least make you sign a piece of paper stating you know it is illegal so it covers the shop.

I have 20% all the way around, but on a tint meter it says 17%, so 15% is actually more like 12%. Usually is 3 degrees darker on a tint meter. Ask me how I know, lol!
To the guy above me, why did you get rid of the blazer for the stripped down version of the uglyiest truck alive IMO.

Because this happened:

And because I bought the truck stripped down so I can put whichever wheels I want on it instead of paying more for factory aluminum wheels. And everyone has an opinion on how a vehicle looks.

I paid $60 for my two fronts and that included a life time warrenty. I would bet that two other windows and a rear window would cost around $180-200 at the minimum.

I think picking 15% was a good idea.
