I have heard this is like Sound Deadener, can anyone confirm if it's alright if applying several layers? I need just to deadened my rear deck over the holes and make like a gasket around my 6x9 anyways if I can use it my friend can get a pretty good deal on these at Lowes, thanks.

It is a cheap deadener and work for what you are doing. Hell I have used it in my buddys car and did the majority of the trunk in it and did a good job queiting down his trunk. People will sway against it though saying you really are not saving money when you can go out and buy a higher quailty mat and only do one layer to 7 of the Peel and seel.

i put it on in the winter worked good... but once june/july rolled around it started coming all off and made a mess
