5 months waiting to get a Focal 6x9 back? Never again!

I had the shop I bought my CV-690 6x9's send out one of them for a bad tweeter repair on 10/06. I have been pounding on the shop the last two months about where it is and they said they haven't gotten anything. Then about two weeks ago they got a shipment but mine wasn't in there. Today they said they would contact the sales rep and see if he could put some heat on the Cali guys on it. I have been without for coming up on 6 mos. which is crap! I went on their site and sent an e-mail but they have zero numbers of a human voice where you can discuss what is going on. Never again! I hope to scope out another set of 6x9's tonight maybe from CDT since they have been awesome in this area and have a phone line where you can contact someone. From now on this is a must on anything I buy. Um, that is crap. Any shop worth a crap should have handed you a new one and dealt with their distributor or Focal themselves. That's why you spend the money to buy from an authorized local shop.

Whose site? Focal? Um, there's numbers there. I've spoken with them 3 times before I bought anything asking various questions. They were very helpful.

Authorized dealer listed right on their site. Bought, paid for and installed right there.

They TRIED to give me a CV1 today but I told them they are nuts. They don't handle the same power and aren't matched besides being about $200 cheaper a set. No thanks!

What Focal site are you looking at? Their new USA site only has e-mail address for everything. If you have a link to the numbers that would be great!

if that is the dealer, the dealer should take care of you, and take it up with Focal. They would have more pull getting it fixed, as a dealer, then you would as a consumer.

That's what I am pushing for. I don't have much faith in them there and won't deal with them again. I have to try to see this through though getting my 6x9 back. I think I will need to buy a set tomorrow if he doesn't get anywhere.

i def know what you are talking about been waiting 6 months on tweeters from polk that blew from my momo components.

pretty much the same story shop telling me they havent gotten them. then i go back a few weeks later they say they shipped them and should be coming. then they say they havent gotten them. insane.

Focal always gets me my stuff back within two weeks at the latest. Sounds like your local shop screwed you some how.

email their sales department and ask to get a phone number cause you have a lot of questions and want to buy some of their products. tell them you cant get to a computer much and it would be a lot more convenient for you if you can get a number.

and dont use the same email address that you already emailed them with

ps, dont give them your real name when you email them, only over the phone if they do give you a number
