5 channel amps?

are there any capable 5 channel amps out there for a decent price($500 and under) that will put out a real 75-100 x 4 for speakers, and like 700+ for the sub(rl-p 15)? anyone know where to point me? i would like to have a single amp setup, for cleanness, and wiring. thanks everyone.

Im pretty sure JL Audio has one. Im not sure of the model. But I do know its the e series.

I have the four channel sitting here at the house. Its the e4300.

But im not sure of the model number tho on the five channel.

JL's doesn't put out that much to the sub, the DLS amps put out a lot @ 1ohm on the sub channel.

75w X 4 @ 4 Ohms and a 5th channel for subwoofers that will give you 300w @ 4 Ohms, 600w @ 2 Ohms, and 1100w @ 1 Ohm.

BNIB they'll run you around $600/shipped on eBay but for true 1 Ohm load stability with over 1000 watts of output on the sub channel it is well worth it, IMO.

gonna be hard to find one with the power you want for 500.00 , the Memphis Belle comes to mind , but it is more than 500.00 I think , Might want to do a 2 amp setup .

Memphis Belle outputs more power and is cheaper.

Still over his stated $500 budget but cheaper it is nonetheless.

took a look at the specs on that memphis amp, its distortion at 4 ohn for the sub is .5%(or so the site says), wonder what it is at 1ohm? ,and will i really notice it that much? looking for a decent dd performer with good sq, and lots bass when wanted.

Anything under 1% is fine. e-mail them for the 1ohm spec.

Sounds like you want a lot of power and performace, but don't want to pay for it. You might be able to find what you need in two amps for $500 however.

The Audison SRx5 is a nice little amp, but won't deliver the power you're after.

you can maybe find a used DLS A7 for around $600 or so used. I think it does something like 700 watts @ 1 ohm or something. plus 60 x 4.

i dont want anything crazy, and if i can find two amps to do the job for a good price i'll buy them, but i'd prefer to have one amp. im not looking to hit 150 or anything. id just like a nice dd setup that can deliver some good bass when i want.
