5 band Parametric EQ

Does anyone have a tried and true setting for a 5 band parametric EQ in a VW Beetle or compact hatchback? Tried the Alpine tuning kit to no avail - hate what it came up with. Just need the Hz and gain settings, anyone?

i have it for my kenwood.. ive tinkered around with it but havent had much time.. its just a matter of experimenting.. im gonna turn it loud and mess with each one and see how it sounds

its going to be different for every car. i like keeping my bass around -2 of -6. mids at -1 of -6, and my treble +2 or +3 of +6. keep playing with it and youll find the sweet spot

These were the settings that I had in my other car with a 7 band Eclipse which I loved:

Parametric EQ

1- 63Hz, flat, flat

2- 200Hz, -3, normal

3- 400Hz, +6, sharp

4- 1.25K Hz, -2, slow

5- 1.6K Hz, -8, slow

6- 5K Hz, -4, slow

7- 16K Hz, +6, slow

Now my setup includes:

HU - Alpine IDA-X305

Front - Dynaudio System 240 GT components

Back - JL audio TR650-CXi

Speaker Amp Alpine PDX 4.150

Sub - JL Audio Stealthbox for the tire well

Sub amp - Alpine PDX 1.600

Proc - PXA-H100

All this $ and the sound does not blow me away.

where is a basic place to set the gains on my amps?

Which two bands from a 7 band to a 5 band eq do I eliminate?
