4x8 speakers??

So my dad has a '72 Mustang Mach 1 (nice, right?) and he was looking to install some new speakers since the old ones got blown out. I get a deal on Kicker products when I order through my workplace (Best Buy) so I was going to pick him some up. It would seem that 4x8 aren't very common at all though. We were going to try 6x8, but they wont fit. Any suggestions?

Also remember that this is a classic car so we wont be doing any modifications to the car itself (I.E. cutting holes, etc)

You don't need to cut holes just add an MDF ring and mount it to that then simply mount the ring to the stock location just find a speaker that can fit instide the hole is all. If you are worried about aesthetic just cover the ring with some material.

You can build some custom kick panels for a 72 Mustang that will allow you to fit normal size speakers in it...I have a set that I am selling ...
