Ok so my brother is planning on buying a couple American Bass hd15's which apparently are dual 1.5ohm and he is having trouble finding an amp to power them. He's looking for a 4-5k amp for around 6-700 dollars if possible.

What are the specs on the amp I can't seem to find them anywhere. I'm guessing 3500 watts but idk at what ohms its rated.

Hes been competing in local comps and plans to with the new ones still so I'm pretty sure he wants a single 4-5k amp that is either .375 ohm or 1.5ohm stable. He might be willing to do 2 amps one for each sub but he really wants to have the subs wired together.

i have 2 cactus sounds k5 amps. one was repaired. come up with another $50 and i can sell you the repaired one. amps do 5100w@1ohm on 12v setup. i clamped the repaired one at 5742w@2.2 ohms on 16v setup.

Stetsom 4K2D 4200W @ 2 ohm. I've run it daily at 1.4 nominal, currently running at 1.8 ish nominal. At 1.4 ohms it does the same on the meter (give or take a tenth) as my old Fusion 4K in about a third of the size. Runs nice and cool and is stable enough to play at normal listening levels for hours at a clip.
