4guage enough

well i have a single jl 12 w1v2 and a jbl amp and im looking to upgrade to another jl 12w1v2 and a hifonics brutus amp

will 4guage from the batter to the amp be enough?

and should i get a capacitor (1.5) for my car that has a 90amp alternator (mind you my speakers are amped too)

most hifonics use 4 gauge so thats fine. and no on the capacitor. just do the big 3 with 0 gauge under the hood and run 4 gauge to the amp

That wasnt the point. Hes saying you didnt post a model number. theres the 606d, 1206d, 1606d, and 2006d. Which one do you have?

to tell you the truth im not sure..

probably 600 total wattage on the amp is enough for two w1v2's right? im only putting 200 into mine now.

so on second thought maybe not a brutus..
