I just connected my stock rear speakers which are Bose/Delphi with 2 ohm impedance to my 4 channel.

I am already running a set of components @ 4 ohms.

Will this combination damage the amp ?

In what way ?

Not really satisfied with just a no. I wanna know why

amp is Alpine 3555

I remember a dealer telling me I couldnt run anything anything with the stock speakers because of the speaker impedance

Said you wouldnt be able to hear anything because its was 8 ohm speakers n amp, and I should let them install everything if I wanted it to sound right lol.

This stuff is 2 ohm... typical dealer **** there

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
