4ch amp!!!!! help

i got coax in my car, but i wanna know if i amp them do i use my active crossover or should i amp them straight. becuz i wanna make it clear but i dont know if my 4' are used on the highs or mids. i understand that the 6x8 get mid but what about the 4's help me please thank u.
