IA 20.1 vs. Orion HCCA d5000

im not looking for a **** fight, im looking to see whats best for the money in peoples opinions. shane has a great rep and warranty, but i have yet to see an IA 20.1 go up in smoke from daily use. It's gunna be the amp I use for a long *** time, so it needs to have power, and reliability. Please state your opinions from ACTUAL USE if you have it, or theoretically speaking from specs of the two amps. I know the orion has a bit more features as far as "cool factor" and safety is concerned, but whats the deal on these? much difference power wise installed in car?

i dont think anyone has fired 1 up yet, havent even tested it against the old 2500d. im still waitin to hear a few things about the new HCCA amp. i mean no one tested the old 2500d vs the 20.1, so wha makes ya think someone tested this comparison. im curious to see wha happens also, but no matter wha ima continue to run orion amps, cuz they juss have been proven to last and perform, not only in my install, but in others. its juss an awesome all around amp. i kno i have pushed the 2500d to its limits and it still comes back for more.

doesnt mean that noone has them, this board is not the only audio board around. maybe noone HERE has it, as this place is mostly noobs just getting into higher end equipment. its worth a shot to ask around.

to answer your question i've heard great things about the 20.1, so i guess the decision is up to your budget and what you want...

i guess im wondering if the 600 price tag on the IA is still honored, which would be the better buy, based on if it performs like the old, and has the extra features.

well on dif in the new orion is not much, juss a few extras that makes the amp better. i mean idk, im biased so my opinion doesnt really help much, but from my experince wit orion, its juss a hell of an amp. not sayin the 20.1 isnt, juss that i have no need to be on the market for a diff amp, becuz i found an amp that works well at anyway i run it. it juss performs as im sure the 20.1 does also.

and im sure not many people havent gotten period becuz they juss started shipping them this week or next forgot when. so u'll have 2 wait a month or two to hear a indepth review //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

thanks for a good post lol, hard to come by these days. im prolly gunna go with the orion i just get ancy and want something asap, but i said im buying all the things i wont replace for a long time so i need to just relax and wait i guess.

Just take your time and see what people say...

Either way you're going to get a good amp if you choose any one of these.

2 SE 10's right now to see just how loud i can get them in my mustang. then i will prolly go with one or two higher end tens. maybe a single solox 10
