Well now that I have a box in the car I decided to try something a little bigger, and take a little more time on it. Do a nice paint job and take a little time on bracing.

~4cf net after bracing, dub an port displacement.

~34hz.

Nothing is 100% accurate //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I would like to do a mixture of high gloss paint(s) and fleckstone. I think it will look really good. Possibly spray the RE logo on it?

Anyway here are some pics from tonight, it started getting dark on me so I had to wrap it up.

Rips for front back, and port pieces

I guess a couple of the pics turned out wayy too dark //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif So only a couple pics that don't show you shit.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I should have it all cut tomorrow, and maybe start painting the interior of the port. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Wow.. Too bad I never knew I had any roundover bits.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Well at least now I know!

What amp you going to use to push the SE ?

I'm subscribed as I had my old 15" RE SX in 4 cubes tuned to 34Hz off 1 Sundown 1500D and it pounded in my Sebring. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'll be watching your build progress.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Good to hear 4 cubes worked well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I wasn't too happy with 3.3 @ 33hz so I made a new box.

PA 3000d. I should be getting enough power to it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I would like to upgrade to a nicer amp, but what I have works so it's not really a priority.

Here are a couple new pics. I'll be painting the port tomorrow, got it primed tonight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Spent 70$ on odds and ends, to finish the box, at lows.

Only one thing wrong with this box.. I forgot to take into account the double baffle when cutting the side pieces //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif So I need a (3/4" x 18.5") piece of wood... Other wise this box is going very well.

Wel, not that anyone cares, but here a few more pics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Mounting baffle..

I bought this circle guide for 25$, found out it's completely plastic, and it doesn't even lock at the measurement you adjust to. It's getting returned...

paint is done for the port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Turned out great! Looks better fully dry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Oh, and here's a cutout I made at work??

It's all together and primed.. Rounded all the edges, I'm pretty pleased with it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Not exactly sure how I want to do the paint. I'm going to do a 3.4" strip of the red all around the port, and would like to vary it a little more throughout the rest of the box. I was thinking stripes possibly, but that may look kinda dumb. Anyway, I'm using a gloss burgundy, and white textured paint (fleckstone I think it's called?)
