This is sad, but nothing new.
Fortunately in my neck of the woods few officers are concerned with law abiding citizens posessing and carrying firearms, concealed or not. All the cops I know make their wives carry in their cars. Just make **** sure you tell them there is a gun in your console when you get pulled over, and ask them what they want you to do with it.
