Did you just do the port corner or all interior corners? Think the loss in volume could have made the diff?maybe if designed from the beginning. I tried o add them after the box was built and sealed and I lost a bit.
Tried all. Will try just the port wall. Thanks!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifDid you just do the port corner or all interior corners? Think the loss in volume could have made the diff?
I only do the port corner now as without being able to test it's hard to say if doing all the corners helps or hurts...
doing all will decrease volume and increase tuning relatively substantially (in terms of burping) and probably made you miss your peak freq in your car. Putting them in the port just means less turbulence in the port because there's no more air pocket half way down the line, and should in most cases helpTried all. Will try just the port wall. Thanks for the good info. Will give it a shot. Next box will have 45 along the port wall and opposite to keep the port size the same.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifdoing all will decrease volume and increase tuning relatively substantially (in terms of burping) and probably made you miss your peak freq in your car. Have you tried using resin/cabosil and a cardboard tube in the corner to make the corner curved? I found it works well in the port. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThey've decreased score in every box I've put them in.
