45 angles

Well, if its already made you could just think its perfectly in a flush (the 45* piece you try and put in)..but you could put it in with the corners screwy and have edges sticking out in your port, which wouldnt help really...I would let it be untill you make another enclosure and put them in with the enclosure still in pieces so youre certain theyre in correctly and theyre flush with the walls..

maybe if designed from the beginning. I tried o add them after the box was built and sealed and I lost a bit.
Did you just do the port corner or all interior corners? Think the loss in volume could have made the diff?

I only do the port corner now as without being able to test it's hard to say if doing all the corners helps or hurts...

Tried all. Will try just the port wall. Thanks!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

doing all will decrease volume and increase tuning relatively substantially (in terms of burping) and probably made you miss your peak freq in your car. Putting them in the port just means less turbulence in the port because there's no more air pocket half way down the line, and should in most cases help

Thanks for the good info. Will give it a shot. Next box will have 45 along the port wall and opposite to keep the port size the same.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

They've decreased score in every box I've put them in.
Have you tried using resin/cabosil and a cardboard tube in the corner to make the corner curved? I found it works well in the port. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
