So many countries are tied to our economics, when we go down the globe goes with us.

That is EXACTLY what our politicians are banking on, being saved by the rest of the world. Even if that were to happen, and that's a risky proposal to say the least... who will own us once we are 'saved' by other economies like China?

The dollar is heading for an extreme destabilization. Mark my words. And when that happens, you think you've seen an economic depression already? You aint seen nothing yet. So yes, lets all rally around our political party, and blame everything on the other side, just like we've done the past several decades that got us into this mess. What the fuck does Congress care? They are all millionaires, hell they'll probably move to Aruba when the shit really hits the fan.

This is why I own major acreage in the middle of nowhere, keep a large stock of non parrashable (sp?) items and have been stocking up on ammo for everything I have.

At least I actually know how to live off the land.....

If the need ever arises.....

Hippies were all about drugs and love. Pureness, freedom from the material world. They had a good message, but they got pushed and shoved and forced underground by big brother. Anyway, hipster=/=hippie. The modern day stoner is waaaaay closer to a hippie than a hipster. Hipsters dislike authority, but are pretentious. They don't mesh with the hippie lifestyle at all.

My brother and I have similar preparations, but I hate the fact that we even have to consider this. However, I have a 10 year old little girl and all though this world may not go to crap while I'm still here, it has a 90% chance of happening in hers and I want to ensure that she has every thing she needs to survive what may/will happen.

And Audio is right. We are living breathing history right now. Many of you younger kids will see our country's fall in your life times.

However, I have a 10 year old little girl and all though this world may not go to crap while I'm still here, it has a 90% chance of happening in hers and I want to ensure that she has every thing she needs to survive what may/will happen.

And Audio is right. We are living breathing history right now. Many of you younger kids will see our country's fall in your life times.

I my self have a 4 year old. I hate knowing that he will have to deal with the wrath of this mess we have created(everybody has some sort of blame) after I am gone....

I also hate the idea of possibly using the land that we bought, for hunting and camping, for survival. Its something I DO NOT like to think about but things in the world today are making this come to pass....

I just cant stand the fact of what our kids will have to go through in the rather near future when we are no longer around.

We are way past our govt being on the 'verge' of being corrupt. Corrupt. Incompetent. Self-serving. That is the U.S. government.
People some day, far in the future, will wonder how our society, how each individual, could turn such a blind eye as to allow this to occur. Ever sit in history class and think 'how could so many people allow the holocaust to occur', or the down fall of the Roman empire...? You are living on of those episodes. Right here. Right now.

Actually, we were founded by tyrants. We then tryed to setup our own "country" and generated rules/guidelines that are commonly mistranslated today.

im only 21, no kids, soon to have a big house out in the middle of nowhere. when ish goes down its time to gather a few good people that you can truly trust and rely on and set in for the long haul.

i really hate the fact that i feel the need to be planing for the death of this country being so young.
