$4000

i really don't think i'd go the w7 route, just imo, not flaming jl, but 2 d2's will cost the same as 1 12w7 have very comparable sq and should take the cake in spl(not saying cake b/c it will be easy) but unless space is an issue i think i'd go 2 d2's......just me though

btw capone i've also heard those same things about a w7....especially them sounding wierd....people just say that they don't sound like other speakers, maybe thats what subs should sound like, but if only one sub does for now i don't think i'd buy that info //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

oh yah, i forgot, with that much power you are almost definetly going to need an alt upgrade, im sure the range rover has a big one, but also probably uses a good portion of it. So make sure to set aside a few hundred bucks for an electrical overhaul, new battery woudl be agood choice as well, no point in having a sweet system if you can't get it power.

Well, the reason that I am going the D2 route is because of the price. Sound is my number one priority, but I would definitely like some other stuff too. GPS and a DVD player would be nice, so I think that the D2's would be the way to go.... correct me if I am wrong....

x2 on the magnum d2's and the cdt eurosports 3-way if you can...

just keep in mind that all equipment you're gonna be running remember the alternator upgrade, dominick irragi could probably build a quality alt for ya... don't know his email off the top of my head, but it's like the heart of the sound system, the hu being the brain...

one other thing, if you're gonna spend 400+ on a hu get an eclipse 8443, they run about 450, but you need to get them installed by a dealer for the security features, it's worth it. you just can't beat them. if you have an eclipse dealer nearby, talk to them about all the warranties, extras, etc. it has a decent eq, but you probably want to look into an Audiocontrol DQX (400 or so) 30 band graphic equilizer, has 8 memory presets, line driver, bla bla bla

good luck and enjoy!!!

ok, well. I think that I have decided on the D2's, but what amp would work the best? I have a guy that will install the system for me, he works at a place here and does installs for cheap on the side. Also, anyone want to build me a box that would sound the best for the subs, and fit into the back of a Range Rover? How much would you want?
