$4000

Head Unit: Pioneer Premiere 940MP -www.thezeb.com - $550

Components: CDT Eurosport ES-620 - $540 ( These are just a suggestion, you could look into a thousand speakers with that much money, search teh board for Focal, CDT, Rainbow. )

Subs- Stereo Integrity Magnum d2 ($300 x 2= $600)

Build a box for them, i think sealed for your purposes.

Box Cost ~= 60 Bucks after carpeting (Or Have Donn Make one for you)

Component Amp: Hifonics Zeus ZX6000- $440

Sub Amp: Hifonics Brutus BX1500D- $580

Wiring: http://www.knukonceptz.com

1 Guage Power Wire (2 Would be fine probably)

2 Sets of RCA Cables

Decent amount of Speaker wire

Remote Cable

Just install yourself, it really isn't very hard. If you really don't want to do it you could get a shop to do it, but they are going to bend you over on install fee's when you don't buy stuff from them. Maybe have them install components for you if you have them do anythign because that will be by far the hardest part. Also what kind of car do you have?

Total=$2850 So a grand or so under your budget, with that thousand dollars you could probably have a shop install it for you, but it really isn't worth it. Your system will sound very good, and those subs will pound and sound very good in the process. Good Luck

If he pays that much for that amp he's getting MAJORLY ripped off. Plus, with that much money to spend i'd recommend a higher quality amp, Hifonics is mostly a power for the dollar amp. For amps I'd look in to Zapco, Arc, McIntosh, Tru Tech, for higher quality seeing as this is an SQ system with balls.

Eh i just quickly quoted off the zeb, too lazy to dig around the net to find someone else a deal sorry to be selfish haha. Also Deuce how can you possibly proove that alpine Hu's are better than pioneer? you can't, they really aren't much better maybe in a few aspects, but i feel that the deciding factor is asthetics, and pioneer kicks alpines *** in that department.

How about replace the above setup with:

Sub Amp - Zapco C2K-6.0x Competition Series Amplifier - $900, which does: Stereo 1 ohms: 2 x 600 watts (wire each sub in parallel for a 1 ohm load)

Component Amp - Zapco C2K-2.5x Competition Series Amplifier - $650, which does: Bridged 4 ohms: 2 x 160 watts

Those amp upgrades only add $500 to the price and are amazing SQ amps.

What about an AudioControl Equalizer or Line Driver?

Also whould another set of speakers, maybe 2-way comps add to this setup?

I have to agree. Aesthetics are a HUGE part of it for me. I don't want to have a system that I can walk around and brag about how much money I pissed away on it. I just want something that sounds pretty good, and looks great.

I think it would be a waste to get zapco amps. Why not get Cadence amps or Arc Audio amps. Not ridiculous prices and top quality amps.

For the setup i would get.....

Alpine CDA 7995, 7998, or 9815 - these are not easy Head Units to setup and will take more time to get them to work preperly if u want something easier to use get the top of the line Pioneer deck, i dont know the model.

For speakers thatts not something we could suggest to u because its good to hear them urself. But definetly get a Component set. One 6.5 component set up front will be enough and u wont need rear fill. I would definetly look into Focal, Rainbow, CDT, Dynaudio.

For the Subs i would get 2 D2's or 2 W7's. This will be top notch SQ and will get loud as hell. If u want to save a bit of money, actually, alot, go with the D2's they will be just as good as the w7's especially for the price. u could get 2 D2's for 600 bucks while each w7 will be about 700 bucks. the 12" ones at least. 13" are like 1000 bucks msrp.

ok, well. I think that I have decided on the D2's, but what amp would work the best? I have a guy that will install the system for me, he works at a place here and does installs for cheap on the side. Also, anyone want to build me a box that would sound the best for the subs, and fit into the back of a Range Rover? How much would you want?

hey, I have a range rover and just installed a JL 12W7, if I were you, for the cash you're willing to put down and the fact that you want SQ (and the fact that you drive a Rover //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif, you might as well put in a 13W7 or two 12's or some sort of variation of W7's - if you look at my post, which is somewhere towards the top (disregarding cost etc) youd see that no one has anything neg to say bout the sub other than cost and if you can afford it, its **** awesome

well u say no one has anyone negative to say about it but...

i have heard quite a few people say that the W7 sounds weird to them. And the Low notes is what the sub is amazing at but the sub lacks and doesnt do too well on the high notes.

might be true, but i sure as hell dont notice it. Mine is in a sealed box which doesnt allow it too hit the highs as well anyhow, but I love deep low bass and blah (dont know what else to say)

Alpine 7998 - $600

2 x Stereo Integrity Magnum D2’s - $600

Some $800 6.5” component speakers, CDT, Focal, Rainbow, etc.

Then there’s $2000 left over for two extremely nice amps.

You could do it for a LOT cheaper and have money in the bank if you wished //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
