400 watt visonik..need help tuning

I had an Autotek 200 watt amp and it was louder than this. It distorts more and sounds weird and its hitting TOO low to sound good. I need help tuning. its on a 12" Massive PW12 sub (200 rms 400 max). Gain,Bassboost,LPF knob,HPF knob. what should they be at? Especially the LPF and HPF the Hz are confusing me.

maybe the visonik amp is terribly underrated? it may not put out as much power as the autotek....but use the gain setting tutorial...its not to hard
