i'm assuming you are talking about bp. grey/gunmetal tsi. If it is, he will probably be in the high 11's this year.
as for the original car... yea, no way it has 400 hp. and no way there is 20g's stuck into that thing. still has the stock manifold sheild and looks to have a pretty small turbo. The only actual underhood mods that I can tell for sure are the hard upper ic pipe, strut bar, and a cone filter.

Noob? Im not the one talking about a DSM being crap. Like SlowDSM said, you must have dragged the living piss out of the car thats why it shit on you. I never had a problem with my DSM, it was reliable and drove like a chap, always kept up with oil changes, etc etc and didn't run the thing like if it was a race car, in which you most likely did with yours. Any who, you have no knowledge of DSMs therefor you should shut the **** up, please.

Oh, and for the record, my GST, on a stock 1g turbo (14b) ran 12.8 with 160k on the clock. I had no more than 2.5k in mods.

JV, rest of the DI guys, I can vouch for the fact that bigbirney doesn't drive his cars like shit, and he takes care of them. He probably just got a bad egg. And Eric, there are plenty of 10s DSMs out there that are DDs as well. The DSM guys aren't giving GTPs quite enough credit though...

Just like my SHO has a bad rep of being a POS. It's a great car. Just needs a fuel pump ATM. Granted, it has 197k on it, and it's on a stock pump.

i drove a 92 eagle talon awd 6 bolt 4 bolt combo on a fully built motor with a 20g for 3 years before i sold it and i didnt have any problems with it. now the newer 7 bolt 4g63's had crankwalk issues but that was due to chrysler making a stupid thrust bearing mistake.
