its a gs, so its fwd not awd, prob stock turbo, no fmic, ignition upgrades, probably 2k in parts, still clean for the price.

From looking at the pictures I'd guess the big tube with HKS written on it was an aftermarket turbo... but I may be wrong as I don't know too much about engine mods

Pretty skeptical on actual output but seems nice overall. I'm not an import guy but I like the stock appearance of the car.

thats an air intake tube, it may have an old side mount intercooler there, it looks like the electronics are 10 yr old hks turbo timer and AFC

air is sucked in through the turbo, accelerated, goes through the intercooler for a cooler denser air charge and then into the engine equalling greater h.p.

yeah them tsi are pretty sick, theres a kid here running 12s with his.

i'm assuming you are talking about bp. grey/gunmetal tsi. If it is, he will probably be in the high 11's this year.

as for the original car... yea, no way it has 400 hp. and no way there is 20g's stuck into that thing. still has the stock manifold sheild and looks to have a pretty small turbo. The only actual underhood mods that I can tell for sure are the hard upper ic pipe, strut bar, and a cone filter.

The Grand Prix eats DSM's often, doesnt break down at all, or have crank walk.
