think this is to much for a 12" high excusion woofer off 2k watts in a 2.5 cubic foot box? will be used for daily. gave up on the aero idea. to expensive.

thats what i was thinking. plus this sub is meant to play low notes below 30 hertz, so more area couldnt hurt i wouldnt think.

won't have as much control over the sub, so it might not like real low stuff. Especially if you have a lot of power and the enclosure is on the large size for the sub...

Hey while ur here im thinkin about building.new box for.the hdc4.s how.much port should.i use in 4.5 cubes ..they have 76 now and i feek like they need to breath more..gona be subs forward port side..sorry op for minor hijack

16^2 is plenty for daily. You could do 20^2 and tune a little higher, then use a port reducer for playing low stuff...
