4" components?

Was going to keep my factory HK door speakers but just going to change them and be done with it when I have CSCStang do my install. What would you guys recommend?

I'm keeping the stock head unit because of all the integration. I'll probably go with the JL Audio clean sweep or similar, Soundqubed 1200.2 pushing a 12" Icon and a Soundqubed 90.4 for my door speakers. This is for a BMW 435 btw.

Lol, hell yeah. Stuck with 4" in my MR2 as well.

I'd really like to retain the OEM look. Appreciate your feedback though.

I know 4" isn't ideal but what was hoping to find a combination that would still sound good.

Would you be willing to test fit a BMW specific speaker kit? I would require the removal of one mid and one tweeter, and possibly a bit more work, to determine dimensions.

I hear you. Are you not interested in putting in the time or are you no longer interested in retaining the OEM look while significantly upgrading the sound?
