4 Ohms or 2 Ohms?

I was wondering, if I have 2 Alpine Type R 1242's and a Lanzar Viberant 268 2000W amp, should I hook the subs up at 4 Ohms or 2Ohms? I can't figure out what the difference would be.

sorry, but your only wiring options will be 1ohm or 4ohm. you cannot wire two dual 4ohm subs to two ohms.

you can go 4 ohms and bridge the amp, or wire one sub per channel at 2 ohms. Power will be the same. I would bridge.
