TMH has 3 18's in his Tahoe tuned to 28hz

yeah and he has 5 aero ports to do it, and that box is huge. but that is playing music though! so thats not an spl usage of aero ports.

Good for you, i have 2 15's in a trunk, and you have 4 18's in a wall behind the b-pillar, of course your louder than me.

And i had a friend aid me in my box design, thats why i never run my mouth in enclosure design cause i know i don't know everything. so my sundown nightshade 18s and saz4500s should be here some time next week and im getting ready to start my box im thinking burch with double baffle and double port wall the rest single layer with 8 peaces dowl rod 4 top to bottom 2 side to side 2 front to back and 4x4 cut in half to round out the corners so six rounded corners all sides and the back then about a gallon or so resin 4 6 inch aeros tuned to 27 htz to start 19.5 cubes to start about 16 after displacement car freq is 37 htz any thoughts i will have pics of old build up soon

why because steve did it on a burp at 50 hz? i play music and i havent had a 2nd amp at full power yet, thats why i bought the soungital 16k, to make sure i dont have multiple amp problems. i dont want to be a diq to you josh. but you dont build and design your own stuff. i do! and from my knowlege and experience.

i went against advise, just like most of the people will on here. and i just happened to be loud outta it. i built mine to drive and listen to every day. and thats exactly what i do. my vans outside covered in snow right now. just got done driving it as a matter a fact.

even with four he will have to build a box bigger to accomidate for the airspace the aero ports will take up in airspace from the enclosure. and thats because the aero ports will be long as hell and 6 inches in opening each thats 24 inches of surface space.

but im sure the box will be fine. i just looked his original thoughts and they didnt calculate out for his tuning and airspace or his dimensions.

You might want to stick to repairing amplifers and not pop in on box designs.
