You could do a lot more with the 4 18s if you knew what you were doing. With 4 18s, you could just apply a lot of power in a fairly crappy box and get a 155 honestly. Then you've got a brute forcing method, where you just keep trying.

Having maximum dBzzz is not a scale of measurement for ability to give advice.

Have you ever done any stress tests? Analyzed force vectors from the pressure, then comparing them to the Young's modulus of the material in question to find the strain on the material under this pressure(in reality should be the force exerted on the surface from this pressure)? Ever ran a FEA for a box?

You should see his post he made in a thread a ways back claiming that sound waves don't reflect off of objects and that you can tell exactly where bass tones originate from.
