NS 18s do work quite well in 4 cubes - low tuned as well.

you need a different box design... that one isnt gonna work. loose the aero ports. and go for a slot port...

A port is a port is a port. Flared ports are more effecient and will work just fine.

A large slot port will work as well but you wont have the versatility of being able to retune the box without rebuilding.

You would be suprised how much air a single 6" aero can move.

his box is gonna crack at the seems... and those aero ports are for spl.....

he's tuning to 27 hz... thats not a spl tuning frequency

you better plan on doubling up every wall you have on that box because your gonna hit a speed bump and the sides will blow out....

and btw as long as his box is well built he should be fine...

my last box was for 2 18's 4 cubes each. peak at 43hz... for burps i had 4 sundown 3500Ds a .25 each amp and the box held together just fine...the box was single layered and the sub/port baffle was double layered and thats it...

oh and playing money man(38 and 34hz i think) on two american bass 500.1's did just fine....

FYI a proper internaly braced box is FAR superior to a box with no internal braces that is multilayered...
