4 L7 12's box question.

Ok I wanted to get some insite on port area for a box I am going to build. Next weekend I am going to start a wall build in a 03 s-10 extend cab for 4 12" Kicker L7's. The box is going to around 13 to 14.5 cubic feet. I'm looking at tuning it to 33Hz but I'm not sure on the aout of port area to go with.

i hope its not gonna be 13-14.5net

i wouldnt go no more than 3 cubes each

Port area IMO should be around 125-145 sq inches..usually 32-36ish sq inches for a twelve is a good bet

they say 12-16inches per cube for slot and half that for aeros

so for slot i would do anywhere from 144 to 192 thats if its 12 cubes net

i would personally do 2.5-2.75 per sub i got mine in a box thats 5.25net and it does good for two 12's

I did a box for him a while ago for 2 L7's I did around 3 cubes per sub with 101 square inches of port tuend to 35 Hz. It had very nce output.

I wouldnt go over 2cu for a 12 myself

He never got on a meter, and he is was using a MTX 4001D.

Yea, I would say around 2.5 cubes per sub..possibly even a smidge less..
