Im about to build my first box for these 4 subs. Im going with a sealed enclosure and they will each be in about 1.3 cubes. Does this sound okay? I also have dimensions for 1.6 cubes each..which should i go with. They will be running at 1ohm seeing 1000 watts total for all 4 subs dimensions of the space I have to work with are 47" wide by 36" deep,to window line is about 18"

Oh man, totally go ported, it will be nuts vs sealed bro. trust me.

Way too big sealed.a little small for ported once you factor in port displacement, but still workable. Tune to 35 and you'll be good. You aren't giving them much power (2500 would be better than 1k), so you could use the additional efficiency of the ported box.

Ciao

go ported PERIOD. if u wanted to go sealed u shud have choosen a different sub. also u are really under powering those subs.
I know I know... the monies would only allow a Rf t1000bd for now..in the future I definately plan on going big..... I had one 10 "cvx and I was throwing 700 watts to it and
