4 guage and brutus 1500d

I currently have a 500/1 with 4 guage for the power and ground. I am getting a 1500d soon, so would it be alright to just use the 4 guage or do i need to run some 1/0 guage or 2 guage to it?

Fuse it with something around 125A and give it a try. I think it will work fine. Most people here will probably tell you to RUN and get some 1/0 though.
