I currently have a DD SS1b under my passenger seat with a 4 gauge power/ground wire. I want to add a DD SS4a under the driver seat and will need power and ground distribution blocks. Question is....will the current 4 ga. be big enough for both these amps? or do I need to replace it with 2 gauge? I will run 4 ga. from the blocks to the amps regardless of the main wire size from the battery.

I know these are both class D amps and are super effecient, so I'm thinking the 4 gauge may be fine. Just want to get the input of you experts.

Hmmm that may be pushing it.... What is that a full amount like 1700w? Do you have them both set for full power? Is it OFC 4 gauge? If you don't have them set for full rated power, and it is OFC 4 gauge, then I think you'll be ok. If you do have them set for full rated power, and it's not OFC 4 gauge, I'd suggest some 0 gauge (CCA or OFC, won't matter with that power).
