Well, I'm adding 2 more DP21"s to my Expedition in a month or two. I was planning on doing a clam wall at the B-pillars. But I also started thinking doing a diamond type enclosure would be pretty sweet too.

So I'm looking for some opinions on what you think would be louder first and foremost, and look better. Which ever design I go with will be at the B-pillars, between 35 and 40 cubes, tuned to 32hz. Please explain why you voted the way you did.

I have never done either of these designs, so any tips are also appreciated.

The subs.

Some of the loudest vehicles around have diamonds.
I say go diamond, with a port in each corner on the wall firing foward. Would be sick.
And different which is always nice to see around. Clamshell would look sick though, port in the middle. Thats a hard one to choose there. If you want the diamond, i say go for it.

Diamonds can be hard to load depending on how deep you go.I would do a clamshell.I recently did one in my vehicle.Output is sick.Peakin in the low 30's and everything moves!
I'll probably put the top 2 subs in outside the car, then the bottom 2 in when the boxes are in the car. I'll be doing a top half and bottom half either rout I go so they fit into my car.

I think it'll do for a while. And with the the back two rows of seats all the way out, instead of just folded down, I will have a lot of room.
hum.. if you want a another seat row... just put it inside the box with a port big enough to act like a door frame //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

that would be original //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Haha that would be a crappy ride for the one unfortunate enough to be in there. I have had to store a couple suitcases in my port when I picked someone up from the airport.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I would say just build a box square shell, build each box seperately, load the sub in each. Then put each one into the shell. Bottom ones first, then load the top ones on top of that. Bolt and screw each box together and to the shell. Would be sick, and probably not too hard to do.

May do something like this.
