4-Channel Amp < 300$

Been about 8 years since I had a new vehicle to outfit with audio and so i'm a little out of touch as far as where the quality/value lies in the amplifier brands.

Like the title says i'm in search of a 4-Channel Amp with max budget around 300$.

Will be powering a set of Image Dynamics CTX comps for the front doors and will likely be adding a 10" sub in the back for some bump with the remaining two channels bridged.

I've heard the CTX's love power so despite being rated at 100rms a side i'm sure I can go a little higher if 300$ will get me there.

Would love any input.

How much power would you be looking for? Moreover, for the woofer, and impedance you'd be looking to run the driver at?

If you can find an MBQuart Discus series, the 4125, I think you'll be quite pleasantly surprised at the SQ, efficiency, and overall power.

Also, the Crescendo 1000C4, they also have a new line that'll match for their latest Bass Clef class D amplifiers.

Would you have a problem going used? The Sundown 100.4 is a solid bugger, the Digital Designs SS4a is a great amplifier too.

There are just SO many options out there, I suppose once we find exactly what you're looking for the suggestions may narrow down. Or even if there are manufacturers you had in mind...

Hehe... Or if you'd like to add an extra $175 to that, I'll ship you one of the greatest darned 5ch amplifiers ever made. Bridge the 4 channels for 115W each, and iirc it is rated at a good clean 1100W on the subwoofer channel, but I actually clamped 1310W out of the sucker at .7ohm nominal :p
