4 brahma 12's what amp?

I already have 2 brahma's and a jbl 1200.1 and it is loud and all that but i want to get 1 amp but i dont know what to get. Something I dont know is the ohm that it would run at but i do know that i want them to have about the same poer they have not which is around 600 so that would be about 2400w amp. As long as the the amp isnt super super expensive go at it because i am getting paid alot now and have money to blow thanks for any help.

I don't think you'll find a 2400 watt amp that is affordable! You might be better off just getting another 1200.1. By the way, your only giving 600 to your brahma's? What size and how big is the box?

Try a modified D2...it should suite u quite nicely....

yea only 600 watts and the box is duel 1.4 cube. i just want to add 1 amp i know it will be alot but i didnt want it to be over 1000. By the way does anyone know what the ohm would be for 4 2ohm dvc brahmas?

if wired in series/paralell 2 ohms......in parallel .25ohms.....

Wouldnt it be 2 ohms or .5 ohms ?? Could be 8 ohms too !

4 2ohm subs in parallel......my math may be wrong....it might be even lower......but 4 of them in paralell will be a very low ohm load

my understanding was 4 subs in series/paralell would be a 2ohm load....not a one ohm load....hmmm....i dont really feel like taking the time to do the math either.....sorry

i think the new jbl puts out like 6000 or somethin like that, or maybe thats the price, i dunno look it up
