if it doesnt work... menards always has more birch lolNot exactly what I would do, but if you like it that is all that matters.
That seems really small for a pair of nightshades12's.

I meant 3 cu ft for the pair btw.
because it is. but with enough port they get stupid. That seems really small for a pair of nightshades
8's can get down for sure.. I like doign builds with them, the down side is most people want to get louder then those 8's will allow. Some 8's that could murk the lows. That something I'd have to see. Closest I've seen was the mini van that had 4 AQ 10s and had the roof buckling
Well the enclosure was built by Dave the Box Guy. 3.25 Cu.ft internal with 2-4" ports tuning to 35hz. Amp was set with a o'scope and then a DD1. We wanted to see how close the DD1 was to an actual o'scope. And we were really surprised at how accurate it was. Voltage never dropped below 13.5v. I don't know why my particular 15 got so hot. I was told by Obsidian it was because I was running 965 clamped watts to it. Their word "We rated them at 600 watts rms for a reason"That would likely be more do to clipping or poor enclosure design keeping the driver from cooling.
We poor a good bit more then 600rms to OA subs daily with 100% no issues.

that would depend on the subs, while that idea works for some very limited spl designs it is not a "catch all" for all applications.
And it would earn dayton some rep. They make great stuff. My exact thought when I started looking at those.
About how much more. Im doing a build in a friends car on 3 15s running at .666 and he wants to get a legit 3k (on an h/o alt and battery) im thinking that might be pushing the power too farThat would likely be more do to clipping or poor enclosure design keeping the driver from cooling.
