4-8's or 2-10's

Trying to figure out which is better, I have the opportunity to buy either 4 Kicker 8" CVR's, which will be powered by a Kicker 750.1 or 2 RD audio Sonance 10's powered by a Lanzar Vibe 1200d (I KNOW). I have around 3.5 cu ft to work with and will build accordingly, but which is better for daily in a areo ported box. I like lows and listen to mostly rap.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Without looking up specs on the different subs, generally speaking four 8's will be better than two 10's. More cone area, and 4 motors to soak up power and lessen power compression.
