4.5 cuft @ 36hz..

u have to cut the ports and make them the right length
and each sub displacement is i recall .08 for each sub and i am running two 12's l7's with one 6" port in a box around 5.2net tuned to 33hz and it gets loud but yea try to do 2 6" aeros it will get louder
will it get louder, or will it tend to not suffer from port noise and compresion loading

well if u cant wedge another one in, i think u may have to re-think this. what about 3 4" ers, that would be about 36-37 sq in, but how long and can they fit
that angle makes it hard cuz if i had 3 4's theyd each have to be like 14 inches..

2 6's would be 21 inches each..... haha do they make 7 or 8 inchers.....

becuase that would fit... custom pvc ports haha

HUH???? and i think u r asking me which will be better and not sure i was told more port area will meter higher and be louder but idk

and to the op try a 8"

i actually thought about 2 4 inches but then i did the mathr squared * pie

diam= 4 radius =2

(2)(2)*pie=12.56

multiply that by 2 since there is 2 ports 25.12

vs.

diam= 9 radius =3

(3)(3)*pie = 28.27

i still can't believe it
I don't know what's wrong with me saying 2 4" has more

port area than 1 6". Obviously I didn't do the math //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

However, 2 4" ports does seem to yield a lower Mach rating

than 1 6" port in WinISD, even though the port area is slightly

less. Not sure why.

u would be worse off with one 8" port. i would do no less than 2 6" ports but thats me. and ur not gonna play "low" tuned to 36hz.
but 33hz will lmao.. you can barely tell the difference.. and it is possible to have too much port area.. ex... 2 6inchers... im looking for around 30-39 inches of port area.

and in my book 36hz is pretty low...most solorbaric boxes are tuned way higher...

not a big diff in 3 hz? LOL. low to me must be diff than everybody else on this forum, i never tune that high,ever.

i guess everyones got there own meaning of high and low.. to me low is anywhere from 33 and below.... high is anywhere from 42-55.... so i try to stay right in the middle cuz i want a loud but quality sounding sound.. haha

also anyone got any comments on having 28.8 square inches of port area w/ a 4.5 cube box.. they are flared aero ports though... JW because i cant find a way to get more port in it.
