4 15's vs. 4 12's

goodlukk with boxes for 4 15"s , man all that airspace wasted on 4 15"s when you could do diffrent with 12"s butif ...and i do mean if yo uhad the room like say in an excursion or something , 4 15"s would be brutal! man i could dream of 4 type R 15"s with a total of 8 1000ds!!! but thats another story.

i 3rd the 2 12s suggestion.. were you around for the thread dealing with how huge boxes impede sound from coming into the car.. sound waves end up just cancelling eachother..

i i think that 4 12s and 4 15s would end up with too much cancellation and it would be a waste of money. not to mention, the 15s idea should be gone already anyways. you dont have room for 15s and even if you do, ive never heard a car myself that doesnt muffle most of the bass when the subs fire up into the lid.

a couple SX 12s would be pretty sweet in a good sized well tuned box. im sure theyd get loud

why not 2 15's?

I agree with this, completely. INSTEAD of getting Legacy CRAP, why not get 2 15's, or 2 12's of better value.

Besides that. Why cant he fit 4 15's in that trunk..........If you get a 15 that needs like 1.5 cu. ft. sealed....put 2 in that back, 2 in the corners...bam, you have the middle of the trunk left for amp rack..blah blah blah....right?

just get 1 very strong 15 or 2 high power 12s, 4 15s would probably cause canceling considering they're firing directly into the trunk lid, just get like a xxx 15 or 2 xxx12 (just off the top of my head) and that would be plenty
