But like one of the above posters...doing the HDC3's might save you a bit of money.

Rolled windows down and an 18" stared back at him with him in disbelief..priceless..

BTL's, HDC3's, BL's, Nightshades, DD, or like someone else stated, see if Jacob will re-cone those old konaki motors he has for ya.

I'm subscribed to your build, can't wait to see it...I want a full review on those 3500D AQ's..as I have 2 friends running AQ 1200's and 2200's..

I have 2 15" hdc3 off an 4000+, and well I think next summer I will go with 4. The hdc3's are nice for sure tho.

Go with RD Audio Alpha's I am running 4 of them (15's) and they are really nice. I was going to use BTL's but I switched and the alpha's are so much better

You might consider two of the HDC318"s with the new American made Aluminum voice coils and spiders. Hand built from the ground up in our Oklahoma build facility. All of the aluminum voice coil versions are now built by hand in house with American coils and spiders. E-mail for pricing. Web site will be updated shortly.

Tons of choices.

DP's are good. HDC's are good. Nightshades are nice, havn't gotten to even see one of these yet though

I do like the Alphas or two SQL Heavyweight 18's idea, but you said you didnt like RD so we'll skip that.

I think I'd go with the DP's or Nightshades if you can afford them

4 DP 15's or two custom Nightshade 18's as mentioned, would be fun. Low and Loud.
