i doubt it's more extensive than meade's four 18's and 20,000+ watts of power and however many batteries, and he's mid 160's.

im fairly certain you have no idea what you are talking about...

but back to the original topic... i HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt he is hitting 170 legal. matter of fact, i feel absolutly, undeniably confident that no legal daily driver (anyone, anywhere) is hitting 170...

i cant even count the number of people at NOPI this past weekend that came up to me saying "I HAVE X# OF (insert sub brand/name) AND I HIT A 16X.XX/17X.XX!! BUT MY SHIT WASNT NEARLY AS LOUD AS YOURS!!". and i was only doing 148.8...

and yes, i know that an SPL vehicle only creates that pressure in a very centralized location... but mine does it all over the cabin, and i doubt those guys were that loud anywhere in their cars... i dont know where these kids come up with their numbers, but anytime i hear anything near or over 150 in a daily driver, i dont believe it unless i know the equipment, and most importantly, the install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

the Hifi Buys around me did a Bronco with 6 13W7's and 6 1000/1's in a wall, each in its own ported box, with a huge bank of batteries.....and the truck was hitting like 164 on the TL if i remember correctly.

he probably was louder than that car...but 170...yyya, ask him what car he's comparing his to..cause i bet thats what he's doin.. Probably saw a car with 4 15's do about 170, so he estimates he's just as loud.

there has been a couple cars that hit 170 the JBL car on mythbusters is over 170 and atomic has a car in europe that sits at 176 but the highest i seen is still that truck from Pioneer 180db FTW
