ok so theirs this kid at my school with a ford f 250 extended cab and he has 4 13.5 JL W7's in a ported wall with 2 rockford T2001bd amps and he claims that his set up can hit a 170 . The set up is by far one of the loudest i have herd but i don think its 170 db loud is this possible:

lol good idea glock hissystem is loud but when he told me that i was like ur full of sh*t and he got kinda pissed and he was sayin all this sh*t about how jl is the best and how he his louder than 2 9515's with 2500 watts to each and thtas when i started to think he was full of shyt

ask him about his electrical system as well. there's no way he can pull that on a stock electrical. and he wouldn't even be able to sit in it cuz of the pressure. he's full of it. where's his plexi windows, and 15+batteries, dual alts, etc? he's full of it.

wasnt thier a "MITH BUSTER" show when they were makeing that sub. they went to a spl comp and one vechle did 150db in the drivers seat and 170db in the passenger seat??

Yea. They would not let the guy sit on the passenger side because of the dramatiuc difference in SPL. I dont remember which van it was.

I was just thinking more about it. There is no way. The people hitting 170 + now are running god knows how many watts of power. Compared to his power. I just cant see it happening. Only in port wars
