Perhaps surprised was a bad word. Im just not following your point. Many 15's require twice the enclosure volume as their 12" counterpart, because they displace approx twice the air. No mystery there. How does that substantiate your claim that four 12's will beat two 15's "hands down"?The point was that 4 12s wont always take up more cubes then 2 15s will. He was saying with 2 15s you will save space, when its not entirly true. It all depends on what subs you go with, since most all subs have different box requirements, but in my case it came out exactly the same. 8 cubes recommended for 2 15s, and 8 cubes for 4 12s. Who said I was suprised that 15s require a bigger box?
