4 10's 3 12's or 2 15's

I like the 12w3v3 myself. Lots of output and pretty efficient. There are other woofers out there that may outperform the 12w3v3, but they are kind of needy on the power required to reach full potential. The 12w3v3 also comes in 2-4-8 ohm. If you can fit them the 13w3v3 woofers have (i think) 30% more output than the 12" and they are only 13.5" in dia. They sound clean too.

2 12 inch skars sa-12's dc lvl 3's fi etc. personally have a old school re se on 600 rms and its a low monster. find a pair of them and throw 1400 at the pair and you will be set.

Not sure on that. It was argued, but not disproven. It seem alot of people think the spec that the woofers come with don't apply to anything. Strange???? ALL of the manu seem to still use them. Call a manu and ask them if this will prove anything about a woofer. I would love to hear there answer. I have been told this formula from no less than 4 sub manu and it hasn't gone away. The enclosure can make or break any subwoofer, but this lets you know where a woofer stands compared to other woofers.

Nobody was arguing about specs, just that multiplying 2 specs together and saying it means a lot without taking into account all of the other specs just seems like a complete load of ****.

I look at it as just an idea on air movement. I agree aswell though, much more factors in that. I'm not looking for an exact matchup, but it can be a good method to get an "idea". Perhaps?
