Four 12" HDC's on two 3500's gets my vote for you bossman. That' the loudest you're going to get outta your options.

And yes, I know you said 10's not 12's, but I'm telling you to do four 12" subs, sub up port back.

I am still thinking about sticking to my original plan. 4 hdc3 12's and 4 aq2200d amps. I know that will be louder than all the other options. I was just trying to save a little cash on the electrical. b

**** everyone is saying 2 18's with 2200 on each. I figured 4 10's with 2 3500 watt amps would be louder.
2 18s gives you more cone area than any other option you posted, thats why everyone is saying 2 18s. gives you more cone area than 4 12s also.

lol cuz ur the expert now huh?
Size

10" = 33m^2

12" = 53m^2

15" = 89m^2

18" = 119m^2

whats that? 33x4>119x2 ....I think not

119*2=238

53*4=212

33*4=132

So yes 2x18" will have more surface area and be louder.

Now Quit failing.

My vote is for 2 18"s

edit: format fail

cone area isn't the only thing to take into account which is why i said the 4 12"s. The 18's have the slight cone are advantage but their is more motor force and he is increasing the power if he uses 12"s, which is why that gets my vote (even though its not one of the options).

2 18s gives you more cone area than any other option you posted, thats why everyone is saying 2 18s. gives you more cone area than 4 12s also.
That dont make since. i thought 4 12's has more cone area and the 2 18's. Also it is possible to make 10's louder than 18's with the right install

Do the four 12" HDC's on two 3500's.
Save a bit of cash.

I doubt, seriously, you're going to notice the difference in 1800 rms personally.

Just my .02
I would rather pay the extra $156 and get the 1800 more watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
