3rd row seat build.

does anyone have any boxes that are behind their 3rd row seats in a suv? and for specifics a lincoln navigator. I'm having a hard time visualizing it and seeing a 4 cu ft box fitting behind it. thanks guys

I build one for a buddy of mine to go in the back of his tahoe with the third row seat up, and it came out to be 3.5 total int. cu feet total, so it was .5 cu ft for the port and 3 cu feet for the subs... box demensions are 48" wide, 20" tall, 7" deep on top and 10" deep on the bottom... He put his Kicker CVR 12's in it with a 900 watt amp and it was slammin pretty hard, I was impressed. Here are some pics of the box...

man that steve meade guy is just rediculous...

man i wondering how much he charged for all that work...

my rough guess is around $10G for parts and labor...but its probably one of those things where if you had to ask, you can't afford it...lol:laugh:

i have a quesion if anyone can help. on the buildup thread of the lincoln, is that a special type of sticker used on the plexiglass which give the frosted look when the led's light it up? also, where can i find an led like that which changes colors??

any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated....

its a sticker.....its called "frosty vinyl"....it picks up the light VERY well. Check out the Caddy EXT install, i used the same material for the logo on that box.

I like when people dont trash your work. i have 2 cvrs in 4.5 cubic feet tuned to 34hz behind the third row of my dango(durango) it freaking slams and hits the lows nice... my box is firing up with port up running off of roughly 1000 watts rms (planet audio 900d 955 watts EXACT) just play with some measuerments, i still have complete use of my back window...
