what did that d5 test at 1ohm? i never heard back from you. i don't know anything about them, but they do seem solid. i have only seen that they are rated at 2000@1 and 3000@.5.

No need to get grumpy, it just does not do rated power, i have bench tested them, as well as many other amps, AQ's do about 70 to 75% of rated that i have tested, also a guy on CACO tested an AQ on there and provided the bench test. Not knocking the amps, just putting it out there... for the amount he wants to spend any of those amps are great.

BTW: I love RD Audio stuff, I would love to see an individual group do a bench test on Cresendo, AQ, RD, Massive Audio, and many other popular brands on here.

Like CA&E used to do back in the 90's.

I think both RD and AQ, even Cresendo are great amps... but lets face it none of those really do rated power....

That might be a mobile linnk since I'm on my phone, but even if you account for the reactive impedance and the amperage and voltage being say... 30% out of phase, that's still over 3k @ 1ohm. Boom.
