I more pissed we allow OPEC to **** us with oil prices, while we refuse to drill for our own oil. We send American soldiers over to the middle east to die, each and every day, protecting our foreign oil interests, while we refuse to drill in Anwar, just IN CASE we kill some caribou. We refuse to drill off the coast of Florida for fear of an oil spill, while Cuba has leased out drilling rights to the Chinese, who are/will be building oil drilling rigs literally within sight of the US coast, so they can drill our oil out from under us, ship to China to refine it, then sell it back to us at a ridiculous profit. How fucking stupid can we be? Think the Chinese will take as many precautions to ensure they dont spill oil half a globe away from their land as we would be on our own coast line? Our environmental ethics have skewed our over all focus to a ridiculous degree. The 'oil crisis' of the 70's... was the earth running out of oil back then too? Did earth some how make new oil to pull us out of that crisis and lead us through the era of the 80's and 90's with no oil crisis?
