370Z in Central Florida - Dreams of SQ

(hispls) I don't think q-form kick panels are made for the 350z / 370z platform .

I had some made for my 350Z , interior is similar to OP 370Z

At least consider 3" coaxials for that factory hole? Going without tweeter just seems like the weakest link here.
For one, 3" drivers wouldn't fit, and two, the treble is quite extended and smooth. This isn't the first time I've run a tweeter-less system.

Unfortunately, Photo-Puke-It doesn't show images anymore, so I don't see anything in your post.

Got to love FL. Welcome!
Are you registered on DIYMA?
Love isn't in my vocabulary when talking about FL.

I am on DIYMA. Been there for years but it's boring over there. No one comments on the build threads unless you're dumping thousands into the system on a weekly basis. My current thread over there has over 700 views and only one comment... About the car, not the system.

Audible physics makes a solid widebander. It's the only one I'd use to go past 15k. I'd doubt you are getting to 10k with the ones you have.
I'm pretty certain I am getting well beyond 10 kHz with these. Confirmed by listening to a couple of different tracks this evening on the way home. Also, whatever their top end extension is, they are light years better than the stock 2" tweeters that they replaced. They'll do for now.

I need to focus more on upgrading the door speakers and/or an amp.

Not too sure about the specs as I've seen them rated at 221 Hz - 12 kHz and 221 Hz - 20 kHz, depending on what site you look at. Oddly enough, they don't mention the specs at all on their own site or even the box that came in for that matter. So who knows.

Those Audible Physics speakers look fairly decent. They actually look like modified Tang Band speakers.

I don't think there is any affiliation with tang band. They are one hell of a 2 way.

Suit yourself. If it sounds good to you it is good.

I stay around Ocala in the winters, hit me up this winter so I can come check it out.

Pretty sad about DIYMA. Kinda same thing with SMD forum...if your not a buddy buddy with someone over there or one of Steve's godforsaken nuthuggers, your a nobody.

I'll admit, FL is beautiful out around the beaches on either coast, but inland, yuck. Flat and ugly. Oh, and did I mention HOT and HUMID. One thing FL has going for it are the babes! They walk around everywhere wearing clothes that barely cover their essentials!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Funny I said that about DIYMA, then right after I went on their forum and saw two new posts on my thread from two different members, and they were posts about the actual system. Go figure.

I'm going to start a build thread here shortly, but just wanted to say that I just installed the e-brake bypass and a new AUX jack. After testing things out, I ran the auto TA/EQ. To make a long story short, those little Memphis 2.75" drivers have no shortage of treble. I ended up having to dial them down quite a bit from the auto tune settings. Oh, and now I can play movies.
