for 500 u can get a hifonics 1608d for 240 off ebay. get 2 type Rs for another 200 or so theres a pair in the classifieds. and get a knukoncpetz 1/0 guage wiring kit for like 60. thats about 500 im sure you can find it cheaper on the forums or different sellers off ebay.

hey for 300 im sure you can have the ultimate subwoofer/amp/wiring kit shopping spree at wally world. nothing would beat harder then some 12'' xplods, sony amp and a bad *** scosche wiring kit with a scosche cap:laugh:..............but seriously. if he can go up to 500 it would be easier and can get something that atleast has some decent sound

A Boston G5 with a GTR and a Memphis 500d. Nice and small with the g5 and gtr doesn't take up much space. Gets plenty loud for me and sounds really good doing it.

2 12's instead of one will only get him a db increase of 3 db's. Why doesn't he look into a bit nicer sub than a type r? Sound Solutions Audio may still have their sell on their icon with a sundown amp. Or the usual lineup paired with a cadence amp. Si mag, Fi q, Id max, ect, ect.
